While the North Island has been battered and bruised over the last few days by cyclone Gabrielle we have been basking in sunshine and relishing the flat calm seas around Stewart Island. With light easterly winds forecast for the last couple days of our current Stewart Island expedition we took the opportunity to circumnavigate the Island. We enjoyed a break, including a swim and lunch at Easy Harbour.
