Fiordland Expeditions

For the adventurous and inquisitive traveller an expedition is the in ultimate in holidays. Expeditions often include a little bit of the unpredictable they sometimes take you outside your comfort zone but almost always provide amazing and stimulating learning opportunities.  Fiordland has everything for the expeditioner. An extensive labyrinth of waterways, unique ecosystems (above and below the water), amazing and varied landscapes to explore and a rich cultural history to interpret. A key feature of an expedition is its flexibility to take advantage of every opportunity. MV Strannik is a purpose built Expedition yacht, designed by expeditioners for expeditioners and can cater for a wide range of activities. It is perfect for those looking for a cruising expedition, as it is built to meet the demands of the most severe weather and sea conditions yet it is small enough to navigate some of the most challenging environments making it the perfect vessel for those keen on wildlife or nature expeditions.  The accommodation, (each cabin has private bathrooms), the modern galley and extensive public areas are ideal as a base to come home to after a day’s hiking, photographing or simply enjoying the peace and solitude that Fiordland offers.
